About the Project
Students worked together on the design, then cut the glass and preassembled sections on fiberglass mesh in the studio. That preparation allowed the team to complete the on-site installation in about two days, applying the mesh sections to the wall and finishing the surface with grout. The project shows how careful studio planning can make a complex mosaic installation practical in a neighborhood setting.
