Western Berks Water Authority

Enhancing the façade of the Western Berks Water Authority, the mural measures nine feet by sixty-five feet, and features over fifty square feet of hand-cut glass mosaic in addition to the painted design. The mural's image tells the story of where the water comes from before it reaches the WBWA plant, and also how municipal water is used in our community after it is purified.

About the Project

The mural image will aid the staff of the WBWA by illustrating this cycle when giving tours of the plant to visitors. Water from the WBWA reaches both the Governor Mifflin and Wyomissing Area communities and this project reflects this connection through the two groups of art students who are creating the mural.
