Enhancing the façade of the Western Berks Water Authority, the mural measures nine feet by sixty-five feet, and features over fifty square feet of hand-cut glass mosaic in addition to the painted design. The mural's image tells the story of where the water comes from before it reaches the WBWA plant, and also how municipal water is used in our community after it is purified.

About the Project
The mural was designed to support educational tours of the plant by making the water cycle and municipal system easier to understand visually. Because the authority serves both the Governor Mifflin and Wyomissing communities, art students from both school districts participated in creating the work, reflecting the shared resource depicted in the mural.
