Sunrise Over Mount Penn with Dandelions
Sunrise Over Mount Penn with Dandelions
Embedded Files
Two boarded windows became ready-made frames for this intimate glass mosaic inspired by a summer morning in West Reading. A rising sun, distant city reflections, and oversized dandelions turn an unused architectural feature into a small landscape worth noticing.

About the project
About the project
The design draws on familiar views from West Reading, with Mount Penn on the horizon and the city catching the morning light. Rather than covering the character of the building, the mosaic works with the existing window openings and moulding, using the architecture itself as part of the artwork.
